Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke
Drink water before, during, and after inspections — especially in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor areas in summer months.
Recognize the signs of heat exhaustion: heavy sweating, weakness, dizziness, nausea, headache, and muscle cramps.
If you experience symptoms, stop working immediately, move to a cool area, and hydrate. Notify the office.
Heat stroke is a medical emergency: hot/dry skin, confusion, rapid pulse, and loss of consciousness require an immediate 911 call.
Limit time in attics to 15–20 minutes during extreme heat. Take breaks in air-conditioned areas between sections.
Your safety is our priority — taking these steps can prevent dangerous situations during your inspections.
