Noble Property Inspections

Meth Labs and Chemical Hazards

Be alert for signs of former meth labs: chemical stains on walls/ceilings, unusual odors (ammonia, acetone, ether), modified ventilation, and blackened or discolored fixtures.

If you suspect chemical contamination, do not touch surfaces, collect samples, or remain in the area. Exit immediately.

Report suspected contamination to the client, agent, and the Noble office. Recommend professional environmental testing.

Other chemical hazards include pesticide residue, lead paint dust, and improperly stored household chemicals.

If you feel dizzy, nauseous, or develop a headache while inside a property, exit immediately and get fresh air.

Your safety is our priority — taking these steps can prevent dangerous situations during your inspections.
