Pets and Occupants
Confirm Pet Security: Before entering the property, confirm with the agent or client that all pets are secured. Even friendly animals can react unpredictably.
Announce Your Presence: Knock or ring the doorbell, and verbally announce yourself when entering. Surprising an occupant can create confusion or tension.
Be Cautious: If you encounter an unsecured animal, do not proceed until the owner can restrain or remove the pet.
If an occupant appears agitated, uncomfortable, or hostile, calmly excuse yourself and contact the office for guidance.
Your safety is our priority — taking these steps can prevent dangerous situations during your inspections.
