Weather Conditions

Check the weather forecast before heading to an inspection. Plan for rain, extreme heat, cold, or storms.

Do not walk roofs during rain, high winds, or lightning. Postpone exterior assessments if conditions are unsafe.

In extreme heat, take breaks, stay hydrated, and watch for signs of heat exhaustion in yourself and others.

In freezing conditions, watch for ice on walkways, decks, and roofs. Wear appropriate cold-weather gear.

If a severe weather warning is issued during an inspection, move to a safe interior location immediately.
