How It Works
Enroll
Send the request form below. We confirm that you are completing the practicum for Texas licensing, then walk you through scheduling and what to expect in the field.
Get Matched With a Qualified Inspector
We assign a Noble inspector who meets TREC’s supervisor requirements and works in or near your market, and we schedule you onto appropriate inspections.
Complete Your Field Training
You attend at least five complete inspections. We track the address, date, supervising inspector, and hours for each one, and keep scheduling inspections until you reach 40 hours.
Write and Revise Your Reports
You prepare a report for each of the five required inspections. Your supervising inspector reviews each one, you make any corrections, and the inspector confirms the reports are satisfactory.
Final Sign-Off
Once the five inspections, 40 hours, and five satisfactory reports are confirmed, your qualified supervising inspector signs your Texas Practicum Credit Request (TPCR-3). You submit the signed form to TREC.
Who Supervises and Signs Off
TREC sets the bar for who may supervise a practicum and sign a Practicum Credit Request. We verify and document that an inspector meets every requirement before assigning a student to them.
- Actively licensed as a Texas Professional Inspector for at least five years
- Plus either three or more years supervising or training inspectors, or at least 200 completed Texas real estate inspections
- No more than four practicum students per supervising inspector at one time
Please note: Noble Property Inspections is not a TREC Qualifying Education Provider, a TREC-approved school, or a TREC-approved practicum provider, and this is not a TREC-approved course. The practicum is supervised and certified by individual Texas Professional Inspectors who meet TREC's requirements for signing a Practicum Credit Request. You can see our inspectors and their licenses on our qualifications page.
